Attention all young baseball enthusiasts born in 2012 and 2013! The U13 'A' BALL - 2025 Season is just around the corner and we are thrilled to announce that online registration is now open! If you're ready to hit the diamond and showcase your skills, make sure to sign up before March 31, 2025.
To register, simply visit: https://redrivervalleybaseball.ca/content/2025-online-player---coach-registrationand create an account. Be sure to select Springfield as your community club and complete the registration process. The cost to participate is $250, with payment options available through online credit card or etransfer. Please note that pre-registration online is a must.
Parents, if your child is interested in advancing their age group, make sure to complete the RRVB online form before the registration deadline. Players will be evaluated to ensure they are ready for the U13 'A' level of play.
The U13 'A' BALL games will take place on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights at the Oakbank Community Club Diamond #3. Our Springfield Hawks team will be facing off against other RRVB community club 'A' teams, so get ready for some friendly competition!
We are also in need of dedicated coach volunteers to help organize and manage our U13 team. We appreciate all the help we can get, including coaches, assistant coaches, pitch counters, and scorekeepers.
U13 'A' BALL is a fantastic level of play where players can experience the thrill of turning double plays and hitting home runs while still celebrating each success. It's a fun and exciting opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills on the field.
For the U13 'A' season, players will need to supply their own glove, batting helmet, gray baseball pants, black belt, red baseball socks, and running shoes or baseball cleats. Cleats are recommended but not required. The SMBA will provide Hawks caps for players to keep, as well as bats and catchers equipment. Numbered jerseys will also be supplied for use during the season, with a $65 jersey bond check required at the first practice.
