Calling all young baseball enthusiasts! The U11 "A" BALL - 2025 Season is just around the corner, and we want YOU to be a part of it. If you were born in 2014 or 2015, this is your chance to showcase your skills on the diamond and have a blast playing the game you love.

Registration is now open and will close on March 31, 2025. Make sure to head over to our website (https://redrivervalleybaseball.ca/content/2025-online-player---coach-registration) to sign up.
Remember, every player must create an account and select Springfield as your community club.
The cost to participate is $245, and payment options include online credit card or e-transfer. 

Parents, if your child is looking to advance to the next age category, please complete the RRVB online form before registration closes. Players will be evaluated to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level of play.

Games will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, with Friday and Saturday reserved for practice or weather-related make-up games. Our home diamond will be at the Dugald Community Club Diamonds 2 & 3. We are also in need of coach volunteers, so if you're interested, please register through our online portal.

For those who are new to U11 ball, get ready for an exciting season filled with keeping score, players pitching, and official umpires. If registration numbers allow, there may be one or more 'A' teams like the Springfield Hawks competing against other RRVB community club teams. Plus, don't miss out on the mandatory Monster Mania tournament sponsored by Baseball Manitoba in early May at the Little Mountain Sportsplex.

As for the Springfield Hawks U11 'A' uniform and equipment, players will need to provide their own glove, batting helmet, gray baseball pants, black belt, red baseball socks, and running shoes or baseball cleats. We will supply a Hawks cap for players to keep, as well as bats and catchers equipment. A numbered jersey will be provided for use during the season, with a $50 jersey bond cheque required at the first practice.
